A tag has been placed on Shahid Shabaz, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. tragic as this is, it is not an encyclopaedia topic but a news article.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

It appears that you have been canvassing—leaving messages on a biased choice of users' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote. While friendly notices are allowed, they should be limited and nonpartisan in distribution and should reflect a neutral point of view. Please do not post notices which are indiscriminately cross-posted, which espouse a certain point of view or side of a debate, or which are selectively sent only to those who are believed to hold the same opinion as you. Remember to respect Wikipedia's principle of consensus-building by allowing decisions to reflect the prevailing opinion among the community at large. Thank you for pointing this :) will keep in my mind

and please don't change the reliable source as the film is updated in global village space which is showing in google and has enough reliable source if you have problem regarding this article you can put that request in deletion tag. http://globalvillagespace.com/operation-swift-retort-pakistans-befitting-reply-to-indian-aggression/

I was wrong when I claimed that the source did not mention the film - I apologise for that. The reason was that I had multiple tabs open at the same time, and looked at the wrong one. The source is still not independent (you may not have noticed this, but the text was written by the film's director!) so it does not show that the film is notable, but it's undeniably about the film. --bonadea contributions talk 16:16, 19 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Filmdirector didn't wrote the article but submitted via blog it seems the article the news desk itself if you have seen the news desk author button. anyways it is a secondary source and not the optional one. Gulf news , the news , the news (newspaper) , something haute and brandsynario are reliable and few wikipedia page has those article.

Thanks.

When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Operation Swift Retort (film), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or

My Salaams, Memon KutianaWala, I have tried my best and spent some time trying to save your created article Baitul Mukarram Masjid (Karachi) from Deletion at the AfD Discussion Forum. I would like to encourage you to keep participating at that Discussion Forum because many of our better and senior Pakistani editors have STOPPED participating there. Definite lack of participation there right now. These Pakistani editors I respected and trusted who were helpful to me and encouraged me, when I started editing Wikipedia in 2012. They must have their own good reasons to make their choices. But the fact remains that all these 'fairly good' articles that people like you have spent time on keep getting Deleted and going to waste, if people don't participate on AfD.

For right now, I have a suggestion for you. Please try to use the url (www.dawn.com/ for example) only ONCE in your Reference. Under newspaper title, we can use DAWN or Dawn (newspaper) and not the url again- whatever you prefer. Otherwise the Wikipedia software starts 'red flagging' it as an External link as it did for you on the above-mentioned article. Ngrewal1 (talk) 15:44, 5 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Dalia Hammoud, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). The article was initially deleted as a result of this discussion in September 2019. Please review the deletion discussion, in particular the analysis of its references, and more generally the English language Wikipedia's Notability guideline for films

You recreated that article 14 January 2020 - which as an administrator I can see.

I have compared the two versions of the article, and while they are superficially different, in my opinion the 14 January 2020 version did not address the concerns raised in the deletion discussion. In particular, the references included such user-generated content websites including but not limited to:

  • https://www.ukfilmreview.co.uk/ - "We promote films and movie trailers from around the world and support indie films that are using #kickstarter to raise money"

Please let me know if you have any questions about this. Pete AU aka --Shirt58 (talk) 10:52, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Dear respected sir I understand but there are two more references Geo Tv has said that only one animated film is released in 2019 which is Operation Swift Retort and telling about the film too and same as Dunya Tv so this two references are actually new which i didn't added in previously deleted article[1].[2]

Propakistani also mention about the film but they will briefly wrote the article about this film very soon.[3]

According to my knowledge Geo News is one of the biggest tv channel of pakistan and they have mentioned the film so i guess it is passing the notability. If you have not check this then you must Sir , Dunya News sunday magazine has mentioned about the film and details too.[4]

This all four references are new thats why i created the article on 14 Jan 2020. Memon KutianaWala (talk) 11:06, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello dear sir

Operation Swift Retort is an animated official film which ties with 2019 Jammu and Kashmir airstrikes therefore i have added a small text in exhibit and film section with three references added 1) Gulf News 2) Geo News and 3) The News International i hope this one is okay as all media channels have saying that the film is released on Youtube so it is at least notable and in a week when i will see new references i will let you know.

Thanks Memon KutianaWala (talk) 19:27, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Memon KutianaWala (talk) 19:36, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Frankly, I do not believe you. You are engaging in all the tactics that paid and conflict of interest editors do including uploading photos as your own work or saying they were sent to you privately. Read WP:COI thoroughly and then come back with your answer. Praxidicae (talk) 19:37, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

I have never said that sent to me , i sent the OTR , please you need to ping to the person who has a article he send me OTR , he sent email from official mail. i am not doing paid editing i am making article on even food street too. Memon KutianaWala (talk) 19:39, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on 2019 Jammu and Kashmir airstrikes; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
I agree with User:Bonadea, and the removal, discuss on the talk page. Do not WP:EDITWAR or you will be blocked. DBigXray 19:41, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Syed Saim Ali moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Syed Saim Ali, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Additionally most of these sources are unreliable and user generated, despite coming from otherwise reliable sources. About half are also black hat SEO sites or press release or even gossip. Please go through WP:AFC. Praxidicae (talk) 18:34, 10 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Thanks i have removed those who were having same word , added dawn news , tribune , the news , samaa tv , pakistan today newspapers & etc notable news magazines.

Speedy deletion nomination of Ayesha Chundrigar

[edit]

Hello Memon KutianaWala,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ayesha Chundrigar for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

A tag has been placed on Turki Almohsen requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Turki AlMohsen. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Turki Almohsen while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Hi Praxidicae It's ok was just confused. Memon KutianaWala (talk) 12:57, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You proposed a draft article for deletion. The proposed deletion procedure is only intended for use on articles, that is, pages in article space, also known as mainspace. Drafts should not be proposed for deletion. If you think that a draft is not ready for article space (and it is not in article space, but is only waiting for review), you may decline it, which tells the author to rework it. Drafts may also be nominated for speedy deletion, but only in accordance with a reason for speedy deletion. Drafts may also be nominated for deletion, but it is best not to nominate drafts for deletion until you are famliiar with how draft space is used. If you have any more questions, the Teahouse would be a good place to ask them, and to get answers from experienced editors. Robert McClenon (talk) 20:03, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Pakistanpedia, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Saqib (talk) 10:54, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah do it Mr @Saqib: You will be fail as i am not using any other accounts you are doing it because you have been warned by different editors and administrators. Off-wiki harassment

[edit]

First of all, I do not appreciate being harassed and pinged off-wiki for you to insult and complain about me because "I could have write to you on talk page but i didn't want to argue with you. If you have an issue here, you bring it up on-wiki. Further, your insinuation here that I had anything to do with some sort of attack is an attack in and of itself. I suggest you redact it and remove it from the AFD entirely as it has nothing to do with the deletion discussion. If you do not, you need to provide diffs. Praxidicae (talk) 11:18, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi ::::@Praxidicae: I will do that later but first of all you need to investigate me a user SAQIB think i am using multiple account so first thing first kindly investigate my account Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Pakistanpedia I am not using multiple accounts as you know it too. it all started from Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Wahdat i put the deletion tag to that page and the user SAQIB has not able to provide proofs so in next hour my two pages got mass put on AFD Nick Wrennand Bin Swelah which was accepted by editor and administrators. Memon KutianaWala (talk) 11:23, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No, I don't need to do anything. The only thing that needs to be done here is that you need to refrain from personal attacks and off-topic digressions in an AFD. Praxidicae (talk) 11:31, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Same applies to you kindly don't make personal comments on me like "I am deleting pages in revenge" at the time of nominating the page the article had weak references so you shouldn't say that i am doing this in revenge. You need to be understand that you nominates my pages for deletion too but when i send you list of those pages who have weak or no reference you do nothing. I am not hired by anyone here, you are a sock puppet investigator too if admin won't find that i m not using multiple then what? my reputation degraded from up to down. anyways i have removed your name there kindly you should not say this again that i am deleting pages in revenge. I'm not sure why you pinged me about this and I don't have any particular desire to get involved but if you want to file a complaint asking administrators to take action against someone then the usual venue is WP:ANI. This is for conduct issues only, nobody there will rule on content issues such as whether topics are notable or not. Hut 8.5 11:47, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

First of all i didn't knew that legal threats or legal action is not allowed but i am disappointed by the Wikipedia. Why i made legal threat?? the reason is i have received several emails by whom i nominated of threat. He was using bad words about my mother, calling me swine and gave personal threat to me. That is not enough in 2018 i got the same by them but thanks to the emergency team who rescued me. Later my personal information such as name and emails were leaked on Wikipedia after that i changed my username to prevent them to abuse me. It all started from a page which i nominated 'Wahdat' a person who call himself a editor from Pakistan have put my articles to mass deleting, later it was rescued by some old editor. he warned the nominator not to do it, a nominator then started a new game against me that i have multiple accounts but it was fail by you if u look closely to the IP address you will understand. short thing is if i recieve one more threat to my email or here unfortunately i will involve Federal Investigation Agency and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority and i have all the legal rights to do it, and it doesn't matter if this account remains block or not but only if administrator didn't take action against the person too. According to the Emergency team and CA including VP of Wikipedia "we are investigating it against the user who are giving threat to the email". This is not over yet before blocking me will Wikipedia adminstrator block the person who has using abusive language on Wikipedia the evidence has been sent to the emergency team??? If a person is sending me abusive email then what action i have remaining? i am still in shock that after a numerous complaint by Wikipedian users why any Administrator has not issued a single warning to the person?? Anyways i will withdraw from the legal action and take my words back only if he stop sending me emails and making personal comments. for more information on what he did to me on Wikipedia read here kindky it is said by the other Veteran Editor too.Memon KutianaWala (talk) 9:53 pm, Today (UTC−4)

So Wikipedia administrators want me to withdraw my legal complaint or what you are calling legal threat but not able to take action against the person who sending me threat on email? it's not a conditional it's Adminstrators job to make happy to both of the disputed company. I have forwarded the threat emails to emergency team i am waiting for them to take action against the user first if they didn't then unfortunately i will not withdraw the legal complaint.

Thank you Memon KutianaWala (talk) 02:19, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Memon KutianaWala, We aren't discussing the other party's behavior, but yours. It's not like you were threatening the user you're making claims about. You decided to threaten someone whom hadn't even remotely wronged you.

You will not be unblocked until either your threatened action reaches completion, or you unambiguously withdraw your threat, and agree to abide by WP:NLT going forth. I will keep an eye out on UTRS, or you can contact me via IRC as you have a couple times now. SQLQuery me! 02:36, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Just a quick comment. Yes, of course you are allowed to take legal action against Wikipedia or against Wikipedia editors. But while you are doing it and/or while the threat of your doing it is open, you are not allowed to edit Wikipedia. As for whether/when action will be taken on Wikipedia against anyone alleged to be making email threats against you, I, and other admins who are not privy to the contents of your complaint, can't answer that. We can not address what we can not see. You will need to take it up with those to whom you have forwarded your complaints. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 07:37, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
