Zacco acutipinnis is a species of cyprinid of the genus Zacco.[1] It inhabits southern China and has a maximum length of 7.8 inches (20 cm) among unsexed males.[1] Described in 1871 by Pieter Bleeker,[1] it is considered harmless to humans.[1] It has 10 dorsal soft rays, 12 anal soft rays and 39-41 vertebrae[1] and has not been classified on the IUCN Red List.[1]
