The result of the move request was: moved. Clear evidence has been presented that directing RR to WP:Trains is causing too much unnecessary misdirection, especially with Writ's examination of actual uses of the shortcut. Wikipedia:RR (disambiguation)Wikipedia:RR – Too many other Wikipedia space pages can be referred to as RR for Wikiproject Trains to be the primary topic; page views has 6,580 people viewing this page in the past year, almost as many as viewed Wikipedia:WikiProject Trains, and the similarity in the trendlines suggest that most of the views of the WikiProject are intended for this page. • Oppose. None of the other uses of WP:RR, as listed on the DAB page, are commonly used. I doubt people looking for WP:3RR are going to search for it using WP:RR, for instance. -- Vaulter 05:15, 20 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • Given that 6,580 people viewed this page in the past year it seems unlikely that none of the other meanings are used. Given that only a few more viewed WikiProject Trains, it seems to mean that most people using WP:RR mean something other than WikiProject Trains. BilledMammal (talk) 05:21, 20 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. I was a bit surprised myself, but people really are using this shortcut incorrectly: of the ten times WP:RR has appeared in the talk namespace, three mean 3RR, four have something to do with reliable sources, and only three are referring to WikiProject Trains. There are some correct uses in other namespaces, but mentions of the three-revert rule, RS guidelines, and even round-robin moves are also prevalent. We don't usually mess with project-space shortcuts because it makes it harder to read old discussions, but here it might actually make it easier.... • Oppose. Moving WP shortcuts is more trouble than it's worth. Red Slash 19:16, 10 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
