Nagato class - what's with the wonky linking?
Some editor's been going around converting ship templates into regular links and occasionally messing things up. I didn't notice this amidst the flood of other changes that he'd been making.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 18:42, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
eight modern battleships and eight modern armored cruisers - why the repetition of modern?
Good catch, fixed.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 18:42, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
IJN had considered --> what's with "had"? Also, that's not a policy, it's a consideration (check the second clause here)
Rephrased.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 18:42, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
American President Woodrow Wilson announced plans for ten additional battleships and six battlecruisers, - Clarify that this was for the American Navy, perhaps?
Why would he announced a building program for any other country?--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 18:42, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

quick-firing (QF) QF 12-pounder guns - Why repeat QF?
No good reason.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 18:42, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The guns / These guns comes across as rather repetitious
Hopefully I've broken it up a bit.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 18:42, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
splinter bulkheads intended to contain any shell fragments and splinters - any way to avoid saying "splinter" twice?
Done.
The middle deck was the primary armored deck - Any way to avoid repetition?
I couldn't think of one.
in theory, this allowed planes to take off directly from the hangars while other planes landed on the top. - Which begs the question, how did they work in practice?
Added a sentence to explain the issue.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 18:42, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Duplicate links: Mutsu, casemates aft, waterline armored belt, deck armor. In an article this short there is no use for duplicate links.
Agreed.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 18:42, 20 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
