Fundamental theorem of calculus article text clarification request.

[edit]

Regarding the article, Fundamental theorem of calculus, line 4 has "with a variable bound of integration." What does the phrase, "bound of integration" mean? I have a bachelor's degree in engineering, so am quite familiar with calculus; this phrase seems to be omitting context, or possibly has incorrect wording.

In the notation for a definite integral over one variable, and are the bounds of integration.  --Lambiam 06:24, 6 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
