Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video (transl. That video of Vicky and Vidya) is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language comedy film set in the 1990s, starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri as the titular couple. It is co-written and directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by T-Series Films, Balaji Motion Pictures, Wakaoo Films and Kathavachak Films. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on 11 October 2024.[1]
Premise
[edit]Vicky and Vidya, newly married in 1997, decide to record a video of their first night together as a keepsake for the future. However, their plan goes awry when the CD with the video gets stolen. What follows is a chaotic and comedic journey as the couple scrambles to retrieve it before things spiral out of control.[2]

Production
[edit]The film was announced in September 2023.[2] Principal photography commenced by January 2024.[3] The film was mainly shot in Rishikesh[4] before wrapping in April 2024.[5]
Music
[edit]The film's soundtrack is composed by Sachin–Jigar with background score by Hitesh Sonik. The song "Sajna Ve Sajna," from the 2004 film Chameli, sung by Sunidhi Chauhan is recreated for the film.[6] The song "Na Na Na Na Re" by Daler Mehndi from the 1997 film Mrityudata is also recreated for the film.[7]
