Puppy Chow/Muddy Buddies

[edit]

Why have you renamed the Puppy Chow article to Chex Muddy Buddies? I realize the snack is referred to by different names in different places, but I believe that the article should be named according to its most common name. Puppy chow seems to be the most popular name for this snack food.

Puppy chow: Google: 247,000 results [1] Yahoo!: 168,000 results [2]

Muddy buddies: Google: 61,200 results [3] Yahoo!: 35,200 results [4]

Also, including Chex in the name seems unnecessarily commercial, as Chex brand cereal is not required to make the snack. I have also seen no evidence that Chex invented the recipe. Puppy chow seems to be a a generic, homemade snack food.

I am also concerned that muddy buddies could be wrongly associated with Muddy buddy or confused with recipes such as this[5]

I would be happy to work with you to resolve the naming issues associated with this article. Perhaps once the article's name is finalized, a section could be added that lists its common names.
