Common Sense

I'm glad you reverted my comment about common sense. It was a little cynical. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Oilstone (talkcontribs) 19:30, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

Bluewater Bay

Obviously I'm new at this. The ownership issue is a big thorn for current owners. Herdon was part of the investment group but is no longer part of the group. There was litigation involved. The intention is to remove anyone's name as a "founder" of the resort as all feel they were involved and that Herdon is a self promoter. The other issues - soccer fields beaches and even middle school attended are accurate and current. Bwbmarketing (talk) 20:28, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

Typo fixing

Oh, it's quite alright. I actually saw that myself, but I was too busy to fix it. Thanks, RyRy (talk) 21:41, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

I would not consider CCWWuss's edits to be vandalism. They may be misguided, but I do not believe they are an attempt to vandalize articles. Best, Gwernol 21:23, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

User:JeanLatore's subpages

Looks good to me. I've deleted them as {{G6}} because the user has no more rights to them, and therefore they are just wasted space. Admins can restore if thre's a good reason. Thanks for the heads-up. Cheers and happy editing! - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 23:50, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

Alex Kuo

He won an American Book Award, three National Endowment for the Arts awards, and many others. Definitely meets notability criteria. But thanks for asking. DS (talk) 17:53, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

Student Doctor Network

Organization should meet notable criteria under "Non-commercial organizations" - it is national, has over 30,000 active members, over 100 active volunteers, has been in existence 9 years, and has published 4 books which are commercially available.[1] Thanks for consideration. Thamangas (talk) 20:01, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

Hi. I can keep an eye on the page, but I don't know what his actual date of birth is. The IMDB says 1971, and in his first movie Akkada Abbai Ikkada Ammayi it doesn't seem like he would be only 13 years old.... Do you know of any reliable sources that can pin down his age? ... discospinster talk 00:02, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

Reverting my comment

I think you overstepped your bounds when reverting my contribution to the discussion. Was I being a bit harsh, maybe. I never intended to be uncivil. Perhaps in the future you could just leave a warning without reverting unless the comment is a blatant attack against another editor. Allthedamnnamesaretaken (talk) 17:23, 28 July 2008 (UTC)O

Pokemon unmerge proposal

Hello, this message is being sent to inform you that a proposal to un-merge all Pokemon articles has been started at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Pokemon#Pokemon and their rightful place. As a member of WikiProject Pokemon, your input would be much appreciated. GlassCobra 22:49, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. Green faith ministry

Any good-faith effort to improve the encyclopedia, even if misguided or ill-considered, is not vandalism. Even harmful edits that are not explicitly made in bad faith are not vandalism. For example, adding a controversial personal opinion to an article once is not vandalism. isnt there a rule against denying (religion) the first amendment here? i feel u are vandalizing cannabis religions! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Reverend 420 (talkcontribs)

what do you want it's donation reciepts, state licenses, state issued medical marijuan licenses, it is listed on all the other cannabis churches pages here. It is on the ULC directory. It is even on the business listings localy. Do you need their wedding officiant documents, marraige licenses, and death certificates they officiated over. If this is a state and federal recognized religion, HOW CAN YOU DENY THEM A PAGE? LINKS TO WERE YOU CAN GET ALL THIS IS PROVIDED! WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Reverend 420 (talkcontribs) 19:07, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

marijuana medicine / religion, legalization dominates all government opinion web sites, polls, and views. Wake up you PERSECUTING/predjudice ENCYCLOPEDIA, THE CANNABIS REVOLUTION IS HERE TO STAY AND green faith ministry is a viable life line to this movement as all other belivers to all other religions, organizations, websites, Internet guides. Wikipedia articles should not exist only to describe the nature, appearance or services a website offers, but should describe the site in an encyclopedic manner, offering detail on a website's achievements, impact or historical significance, which can be significantly more up-to-date than most reference sources since we can incorporate new developments and facts as they are made known. See current events for examples. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Reverend 420 (talkcontribs) 21:47, 1 April 2009 (UTC)

Oh, man, what a rush it is to see you again! Welcome back! Yes, I broke down and asked for the admin tools back and I got them with no problem. Nice to see you too. Somehow or other in recent days, I even managed to earn the right to issue rollback rights. Don't know how, but I'll take it.  :) I gave the rights to a couple of NP patrollers who really could have used them. Things are going real good in the ol' personal life as well, knock on wood. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 01:02, 2 April 2009 (UTC)

WALKING FLOOR

You reverted my rewrite of the WALKING FLOOR® article, which I expected, and called it spam, which I did not expect (if you had read it you would have realized that it was accurate, and that the article you reverted it to is a misuse of our trademark), and then called me a spammer, which hurt my feelings.

Anyway, I have since followed the suggested procedures for correcting copyright violations: posted on the article's discussion page and sent an email to info-en-c@wikimedia.org to try to get this resolved.

Two options would suit us fine: change the name of the article from "Walking floor" to "moving floor", or delete the article altogether. We did not create the article.

If you can help make this happen, please do.

Thank you,

Egrutz (talk) 20:53, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

Re your message: Well, the article got renamed, but the deletion of the content wasn't such a good idea. The above user should have followed procedure instead of plastering their trademark notice on the article. I suspect that the use of the trademark in the article name would fall under a fair use clause as if there were not, we wouldn't have articles like Macy's (see WP:MOSTM_. If you want to check for sure, I would suggest asking at Wikipedia:Copyright problems as a start. That isn't the best place, but probably a good starting point. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:40, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
Re Yeah, but I bet in the Macy's article, the term "Macy's" isn't being used as a generic term for all department stores. I'm sorry I didn't follow procedure. We are happy with the results. Thank you. -Egrutz (talk) 14:33, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

Re: Have I Gone Insane?

Hello. No, I don't think you have anything to worry about. I saw that General Trees had been removed from the list, which was fine as there was no article at the time, but then I thought I'd check to see if there was enough around to create a fresh article on him, and there was, so I created one, and added him back into the list. --Michig (talk) 12:24, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

Re: Losing Sun

Re your message: I deleted all of it articles as they did not satisfy the music notability guidelines. No claim of a charted single or album and the band members were not notable. The only weak, unsourced claim was the connection to David Prowse, but that link does not establish notability. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:35, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
