Information icon Hello, I'm Codename Lisa. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Talk:Microsoft Windows without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Information icon Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Talk:Microsoft Windows. Such edits are disruptive and appear to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Peter Sam Fan 15:24, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hey! Which part you both don't get ??? Check what I have done and why before you undo! --Tobias B. Besemer (talk) 15:27, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring at Talk:Microsoft Windows

[edit]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Talk:Microsoft Windows shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. 2601:5C2:100:9A1:9D55:ACD3:C948:D7CC (talk) 22:04, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Take no notice of this message, dear Tobias. This IP editor is a well-known troll. There is no edit war and no one is going to block you for it. Best regards, Codename Lisa (talk) 09:45, 22 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Dear @Codename Lisa:, after I realized in a quit minute that the counter can belong to the bot, I tried to revert my edit, but you already did it... So I took the time to study a bit the documents to the bots/templates... and tried to practice it while learning... the new config of the templates should be better readable, more like in the docs, show which bot will be used to archive and with which config (only goes in small view), configure the bot to clean up more and make smaller archives, keeps at least just one old topic and a context index and the header of the page should look smaller.
Also: Sorry for the stress we had! I just don't like it if people revert instead of fixing/improving my mistakes... ;-)
Good luck & hope to see you again! Tobias.
