My RfA

Thank you for participating in my RFA, which passed with 53-1-0. I will put myself into the various tasks of a administrator immediately, and if I make any mistakes, feel free to shout at me or smack me in my head. Aquarius • talk 17:30, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

Hello/subprime/Global perspectives

Hey Random! You dropped by my talk page the other day and I have been slow to reply. Sorry about that. In response to your question, I have totally slacked off on my work on subprime lending and subprime meltdown, which I want to return to at some point soon. Lately I have been spending a lot of time on articles related to the Iraq War, many of which are in really bad shape!!! I just think it is really important that the basic information about the war is up there so that people can be more informed when they talk about it. Anyways, I saw you jumped in on the conversation related to a global perspectives task force. Somehow I ended up there too, and it seems like a good idea. It looks like the project is moving forward. There is even a page now:) I put my name on the list. It would be great to have you as a member too! OK, see you around. --Mackabean 21:45, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

Fishing revisions

First of all, I would like to thank you for actively guarding our Fishing Project. I've seen all your efforts of protecting the Fishing article from those harmful vandals. I've made a major revision from all those revisions/reverts that were made previously by bots and other wikipedians because some of the important information there were lost despite the effort of each and everyone to guard the said article. Thanks and more power! Bu b0y2007 01:57, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Thanks!

Thanks for smiling! (Did I already thank you?) · AndonicO Talk 14:03, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Adoption

Thank you! I would like to be adopted because I don't know much about Wikipedia and I want to help make Wikipedia better and get involved with projects and hopefully someday get a barnstar. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Klutzycutie13 (talkcontribs) May 18, 2007.

I am an irregular sleeper so there are no spefic times that I will be on Wikipedia. Some days I go to sleep at 7:30 other days I go to sleep at 3:00. I always go on Wikipedia right before I go to sleep so try to see if I'm on anywhere from 7:30 to 10:00.Klutzy Cutie 02:57, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
I'm not usually on so early. I would like to learn about editing and other more complicated things. —Preceding unsigned comment added by {} (talk • contribs)

Help With Harassment from 69.118.129.76

fyi, now that 69.118.129.76 has been blocked from editing the List of people from Ridgefield, Connecticut page, he/she is now harassing me and other editors. unbelievable. —BaseballDetective 03:48, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

Could you please explain a bit more clearly please? From what I understand, an IP left messages on your page, then created an account, and finally, someone else created the article? So who's requesting deletion? I've removed the CSD tag until this is clarified. I assume the IP is 144.122.125.36, and the creator of the page is Saklameken; who is the third person? · AndonicO Talk 19:14, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

Never mind, he's confirmed that he is Saklameken. Now I'm waiting for Saklameken to confirm that he is Alican Kutlu, though. · AndonicO Talk 19:49, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

Hi, can you place this image Image:Mourinho 220.jpg in the article José Mourinho, its Semi-protected from vandalism, and the image in the info box is possibly unfree. Alphablast 11:29, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

Request for comment on talk page of List of people from Ridgefield, Conn.

Hi Random,

I notice you made a contribution to the List of people from Ridgefield, Connecticut page. I've gotten into a discussion with #69 over the substance of my disagreement with him. He's intransigent, and I'd like to get on record that we have a consensus to keep that section of the List of people from Ridgefield, Connecticut list. If, in fact, we have a consensus. I summarized my long argument at the bottom of the page and asked for comments. Would you please look over at least the summary (a few paragraphs) at the bottom of Talk:List of people from Ridgefield, Connecticut and give your opinion (whether in support of keeping or not). Much appreciated, Noroton 23:16, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

Okay thanks, I have also set up an IRC channel called #Wikipedia-Emerald. Be sure to use it. We just need a few more members... Alphablast 14:59, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

Just a question, why remove the category, you are an emeraldist aren't you? Plus, the IRC channel has been moved to #Emerald-en. Alphablast 15:16, 25 May 2007 (UTC)

Oh, thank you for your help. However, there are worries that the group may become the target of deletionists. So we need more support and members. Keep up the work on the logo! :) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Alphablast (talkcontribs) May 26, 2007.

Re: Ridgefield list and canvassing

Thanks for the reference to WP:Canvass. Actually, I'm familiar with it and have read it several times, but after your note I read it over again. What I'm doing with a neutral note to the handful of people who have made edits to the article falls well within acceptable bounds (IMHO), but thanks for the friendly note. I won't go overboard. Joke Edits

Hello, you've just accused me of making a joke edit under my IP address 80.2.207.7. Sorry, but it wasn't me, I spend my time on Wikipedia cleaning silly messes up not making them. Many thanks INXS-Girl 13:50, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

I've just noticed this was 11 days ago - don't know why it's taken so long for your message to show up. INXS-Girl 14:13, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the logo, hopefully we can use both yours and mine, however. It looks a little similar to the esperanza logo, and if the group gets popular people will notice that, however. Its a good picture. Alphablast 13:38, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Joke Edits

Hi,I didn't make the edit (I've never even been to that page) - I was just worried because I spend so much time cleaning up and wondered why I was being accused. Never mind, these things happen with IP addresses. Many thanks INXS-Girl 12:26, 27 May 2007 (UTC)

Your Editor Review

Hello. I just saw your request for an editor review. I'm already working on my review for you. I'm just here to recommend you check out Wikipedia:Admin coaching, as I saw that you stated that you were planning on requesting adminship in the future. Thank you. Happy editing! Hello. I just finished my review for you. Hope it helps! Yours truly, Boricuaeddie Spread the love! 18:29, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

Assignment #1

I copied the Lupin program, and bypassed the cache. I think it's pretty cool. Also, I have read the articles. I still don't get what canvassing is. Can you clarify it for me? thanks! Hirohisat 00:11, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

Lets try again

Well, your userpage front does look a bit better, although you could make it lighter.

Anyway, this is what i was meaning with the icons going wrong.

Or am i the only one with this problem? Simply south 20:54, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

The icons jumping do not happen on your front page but on sub-pages, like your talk page.
Secondly, sure, just add your reasons for co-nomination to RFA page. Simply south 09:02, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
Do you think i should add minus 800. for WP:SBWA (and variants), most of which were in my early days although i still pop in...? Simply south 16:58, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
I have accepted but can you NOT add this yet as i want to refine m answers. It will prob go up tomorrow. Simply south 19:03, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

My RFA

Updated DYK query You supported my candidacy in my recently completed request for adminship. The debated ended 40/4/1 and I'm now an administrator. I'd just like to say thanks for taking the time to consider me, and thanks for the confidence in me. I hope your confidence in me proves to be justified.

Regards, WilyD

Revert

I have reverted the vandalizm on the article Space Race, and please take a look if its ok. Thanks!

Hello Random Editor. I would be honored to coach you. In fact, I had already noticed that you've been doing a great job.
