This is just a guy named Phil Bernstein, and your user page seemed to share some features from this other person i used to know, named Aaron stanley (these are a love of tennis, and MSU, and a mutual friendship with someone named Chris Chan [username: crazytales]). anyway, g'bye--Philip (talk) 02:24, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Federer article edit summary

[edit]

Hi Teh tennisman,

No need to get into a long winded discussion about it, but I just wanted to caution you to not be too confrontational in your edit summaries. referring to "i don't care how many nicknames you can think of..." I personally didn't write the nicknames in anyway, was just removing a speculative one and a redundant one. But please be more cordial or just neutral in your summaries. On an aside, I hope it's not a pattern with people who call themselves tennis something, such as another user I just encountered yesterday. There's no need to be rude, sarcastic, or caustic on wikipedia. This is just a caution note for your reference - not an attack on you personally. ~ GoldenGoose100 (talk) 09:12, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

LOL. 5 times huh; yeah that must be really annoying. thanks for taking my note so well. I can see where a lot of people would be pissed at me right now. But yeah, I understand. We shall continue on our quest to stop the vandalism! ~ GoldenGoose100 (talk) 19:42, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Roger Federer

[edit]

If it angers you so much at the constant inclusion of nicknames in Roger Federer articles, I suggest you take a look at other top tennis players such as Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Richard Gasquet, Nikolay Davydenko and Andy Roddick. You will notice that articles conserning all of those players include nicknames, which is a key reason as to why the Roger Federer article is consistently getting updated with nicknames.

It is suggested that you go to the discussion page if you have a problem with this, otherwise it would be best if you did not remove the Roger Federer nicknames. You just cannot pick and choose which tennis players can have nicknames included in their articles. Thankyou... Thanks!

Well it isn't a cold I had/have, but tissues ALWAYS come in handy - you can never have enough of them! :D Thank you very much for the message and the box of tissues, they're both much appreciated! -- Editor at Largetalk 11:28, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tin Snail

[edit]

Is this page still a candidate for deletion? It's not supposed to be an article, it's a redirect as 'tin snail' is a common name for the 2CV in the UK. Liam Markham (talk) 16:15, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
