Speedy deletion declined: User:Marmaduque

Hello Sundostund, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of User:Marmaduque, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Only the user whose user page it is; or someone acting on their explicit authorisation, should use U1 tags. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. Courcelles 14:43, 1 September 2010 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at User:Marmaduque, you may be blocked from editing. Favonian (talk) 10:39, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

While it may a common practice to have a separate list of the office it is not policy unless you want to show where this is so. Having a separate list was discussed and we feel it is unnecessary to have a separate list for so few entries. So please stop insisting on reverting. ww2censor (talk) 20:05, 24 September 2010 (UTC)

You appear to be engaged in an edit war on this article. Please note the three revert rule- discuss the issue, do not edit war. Snappy is correct that the non-free images may not be used in this article; please stop adding them immediately. The use of the other images is an editorial issue; you are welcome to discuss the matter and decide how best to proceed. J Milburn (talk) 15:36, 26 September 2010 (UTC)

Non-free files in your user space

Hey there Sundostund, thank you for your contributions. I am a bot, alerting you that non-free files are not allowed in user or talk space. I removed some files I found on User:Sundostund/Sandbox. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use files to your user-space drafts or your talk page.

Thank you, -- DASHBot (talk) 05:02, 14 October 2010 (UTC)

You added partisan colours for the early Chancellors (such as a conservative blue colour for Bismarck); as the early Chancellors were not attached to any political party, and the "party" given is merely an approximate indication of their political leanings, I'm not sure if this is a good idea. Also, why did you remove the partisan colour from the last part of the table (the Republic)? BartBassist (talk) 10:21, 19 October 2010 (UTC)

All fair enough, though I shall reintroduce the colouring of the Diet column, as it would be useful to show who controlled the Bundestag. Also, I am not particularly happy with the similarity between the colours for "Liberal Conservative" political faction and the Nazi Party. BartBassist (talk) 14:02, 19 October 2010 (UTC)

Stop your distrubting editing on that page, okay.. I'm nominating for FL and you are really making it hard for me.. Your lay out is disruptive, muddling, falsely incorrect and there were no chronogical way of numbering the Premiers so that should not be included. --TIAYN (talk) 12:51, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

Okay, if you don't want to improve the article constructively, fine... i won't back down either, I'm really really stubborn.. All other users would have posted on the FL nomination review page if they had problems you just seems want to start a FUCKING argument with me.. That's fine, if you are an idiot, be an idiot. Either discuss this properly on the FL review page or engage in an edit war with me in which both of us will eventually be blocked.. Do you want to get blocked, properly not! --TIAYN (talk) 16:51, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
My list uses the same format as the List of Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom, that list is a Featured List... It's not a bad list because don't like the layout. --TIAYN (talk) 16:55, 4 December 2010 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for personal attacks / harassment - specifically, repeated vandalism of others' user pages, this time User:Rave92. Once the block has expired, you're welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at User:Mariah-Yulia/Userbox/Yulia Tymoshenko, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Do not edit others' user pages or user subpages without permission. Your next block for this issue will likely be indefinite. Toddst1 (talk) 23:22, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

In a 2007 arbitration case, administrators were given the power to impose discretionary sanctions on any user editing Balkans-related articles in a disruptive way. If you engage in further inappropriate behaviour in this area, you may be placed under sanctions including blocks, a revert limitation or an article/topic ban. Thank you. Cut it out. You are reverting to a malformed version of that template, starting with the name field being improper. It was moved at some point, I expect. You are also screwing-up the proper structure. As to the specific overly-detailed content you keep restoring, take it to talk. Jack Merridewnb 18:26, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

Thanks for uploading File:Dipendra.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --FairuseBot (talk) 11:33, 15 February 2011 (UTC)

3RR

Hello there! I'm stepping in to mediate this. Please note that any further reversions of that article will result in a block. If you could, keep things on the talk page and everything will be OK. Cheers, m.o.p 15:38, 17 February 2011 (UTC)

Well, I'll try. I hope User:Jack Merridew will also try to be reasonable and to stop with his reverting. --Sundostund (talk) 16:09, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
You were blocked by another administrator who didn't see the 3RR thread. I'll unblock you out of good faith, but keep in mind that you still can't edit war.
Now, if you guys would like to fill me in on this dispute (your respective sides of it), I'd be happy to help. Thanks, m.o.p 08:21, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for unblock, m.o.p! I assume that another administrator really didn't see the the 3RR thread. Cheers! --Sundostund (talk) 10:18, 18 February 2011 (UTC)

Violations of MOS

I see that you have returned from your block and have immediately started reverting without explanation (or any edit summary) at List of Presidents of Egypt. In this edit, you re-introduced bolding to text that is contrary to MOS:BOLD and made three consecutive links to the same article in three places, contrary to WP:OVERLINK. I am prepared to work with you to improve this article, and a section is open on the talk page for discussion. I have reverted your edit and I request that you join the discussion at the talk page. You may find it helpful to consult MOS:ACCESS#Data tables to gain an understanding of how to mark up tables, particularly headers.

If you fail to engage constructively, I will not edit war with you, but I will immediately raise the issue of your behaviour at ANI and ask for a lengthy block. Please take this as a collegial reminder that Wikipedia is a collaborative project, and I would much prefer to be able to work with you for the benefit of the project. Cordially, --RexxS (talk) 13:19, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
