OK. But that wasn't me; I've never used that template. No problem tho. Herostratus 03:21, 7 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Oh! You're right! That was wayyyy back on November 20, I'd forgotten. Sorry to put you through the trouble of looking it up. Anyway, I'm pretty sure that's the only time I used it... I was pretty new then. But thanks for the info about how to use it, I appreciate it! Herostratus 03:38, 7 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

I would just like to show my appreciation to the work you've been doing in WikiProject Albums. Keep it up! :) Gflores Talk 04:12, 11 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Rock and roll vs. Rock (music)

[edit]

I'm not keeping a list (there'd be no point, I change the links as I see them). Once in a while, I go to Special:Whatlinkshere/Rock and roll and start clicking links. They've got heavy metal up there now. Tsh.... these guys must be about a hundred years old.... "Ah, yes, heavy metal.... it's a sort of rock and roll, isn't it? You know, from those new gramophone records...." TheMadBaron 17:38, 12 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

As well it should have - the template he was removing, Template:Stars, is slated for deletion. Please do not use meta-templates to display your music ratings. Phil Sandifer 21:38, 26 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Slicing, I was this close to just removing every one of those spam-like All Music links. Upon further investigation, that site rates by comparing works to other works by the same artist. Combine that poor system with the site's commercial nature, and I doubt very much the All Music belongs here. In the meantime, I will be looking into this template substitution bug and resolve it. Right now, I think removing All Music links to be the quickest solution, and not at all a bad one. -- Netoholic @ 23:37, 26 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Personally, I don't care if they are accurate or not. Why should Wikipedia bother with keeping in sync with any external website? If I can find a bot-driven way to fix the ratings, I will. If not, then I'm not going to worry too much. -- Netoholic @ 23:46, 26 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Catch Without Arms.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read carefully the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content and then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:47, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:WalkingWithAGhost.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:WalkingWithAGhost.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:NaziPunksFuckOffND.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:NaziPunksFuckOffND.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 18:05, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:WalkingWithAGhost.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:WalkingWithAGhost.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Wisdom89 (T / C) 04:51, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Youuuuuuuuuuuuu

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Youuuuuuuuuuuuu, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Tlesher (talk) 03:37, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Trino (video game), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Trino (video game). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Trevor Marron (talk) 12:28, 8 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
Updated DYK query On March 5, 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Scrap Metal (video game), which you created or substantially expanded. You are welcome to check how many hits your article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check ) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

The article Buck naked has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced neologism

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Kevin (talk) 04:08, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are now a Reviewer

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 17:55, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I used the right nested TOC because the regular TOC wastes a lot of space, especially on wider monitors. Does it break the formatting for you? GreenReaper (talk) 20:02, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
