User Box WP Japan

[edit]

--Kiyoweap

Hi. I have a discussion up at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Japan#Membership Roll? which concerns users who display {{User WikiProject Japan}} on their user page.

If I can get consensus, I would like to list you all under Category:WikiProject Japan participants. As of now, you will not be listed unless you switch to (or add) the other User box {{User WP Japan}}.

And if you really do not want to get listed, would you still mind switching to the other User box and use the feature that suppresses listing?
If you don't want to be listed, replace {{User WikiProject Japan}} with {{User WP Japan|nocat=true}}, or on your {{Babel}} replacing your |WikiProject Japan| with |special-boxes={{User WP Japan|nocat=true}}|
Thanks. --Kiyoweap (talk) 11:29, 13 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Chunghuaについて

[edit]

I think users will not call Chunghua TV or Chung Hua Sheng Kung Hui or any telecom or post company named Chunghua solely by the name of Chung Hua. Therefore I don't think there is any ambiguity with the names, thus those should be removed from the disambiguation page. The page is not a search engine result page, and should only keep titles that have ambiguity issues. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dennis97519 (talkcontribs) 16:27, 31 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hachimanyama Station naming

[edit]

Hi. Thanks for your interest in the Hachimanyama Station article. I understand that you have found a Keio page that renders the name as "Hachiman-yama Station", but since, at this point in time, the actual station signage uses "Hachimanyama" (see File:Hachimanyama-Sta-S.JPG) and the official Keio station information page also uses this spelling (see [1]), I think it will be difficult to make a case for claiming that the hyphenated "Hachiman-yama" is the WP:COMMONNAME. If you still wish to have the article use the "Hachiman-yama" rendering, you will need to submit a format move request at Wikipedia:Requested moves. Note that the article was moved to its current form several years back, so you will need to gain consensus if you wish to have it moved back. Maybe you can provide a more recent photo that shows station signage with the hyphenated form? I hope this clarifies the situation. Thanks. --DAJF (talk) 23:44, 12 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
