I need a couple of things explained to me...

For example, a radio show has many bits, many characters and many inside jokes. And accoring to what I've read, everything must be on paper form before it can be considered to be on wikipedia.

I am mainly speaking of the Dave, Shelly, and Chainsaw article that a few of us has worked somewhat hard on. I find it very hard for a radio show's article article to even exist, because, for example, there is hardly any information on either their web site, in books, or in newspaper articles. And if you listen to the show, you can confirm pratically everything that is on the article in one form or another. I don't want to start no mutiny, but I just think there should be some sort of a seperate guideline regarding radio shows and radio stations.

Hello. Welcome to Wikipedia. We only entertain citations from published sources. Please review Wikipedia's policy/guideline of citing sources and verifiability. — Nearly Headless Nick {L} 14:48, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

I fail to know how seeing your fellow wikipedian's hard work being wrecked by vandals makes you "laugh". Does that somehow teach Hussein a lesson?

Please think before condoning vandalism of anykind in future thank you Glen 23:06, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Image:Wells140.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Wells140.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Chowbok 21:58, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

Hi. No problem. Thanks for taking the time to review the deletion and the sound basis for restoring it. --Spartaz 17:43, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

An Automated Message from HagermanBot

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! HagermanBot 18:50, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

Re:Pictures

Well at first I tried to fix their resolution because they created too many white spaces within the article. In the end I found that even after their resolution was lowered the articles still had many white spaces, so I just removed them to get rid of the problem.-- bulletproof 3:16 04:10, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

From the Editor

Welcome to the inaugural edition of the WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter! I hope this will be a good source of news to those people interested in what's happening around our pro wrestlimg community. I plan to release it every Sunday.

This newsletter will just be a way to get the community announcements to people who don't have the time to check the mesageboards, as well that to those just curious about the news. The newsleter will consist of a project news section (to do with what's happening on Wikipedia), and a current events section (relating to news in the "real world"). The newslette will also contain the Collaboration of the Week announcement.

That's all. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please post them at this talk page.

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Twmposter3.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Twmposter3.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:25, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
