Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Torture of robert kyagulanyi campaign trail. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Bobi Wine. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Bobi Wine. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Eostrix  (🦉 hoot hoot🦉) 08:40, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop moving Mary Blathwayt (suffragatte) into article space

[edit]

Information icon Please STOP moving your user page into article space. The subject does not appear notable, and even if they were, it is too poorly written and unreferenced, so it is totally unsuitable for article space. Wikipedia does NOT work like Facebook. - Arjayay (talk) 15:16, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Kenpachiro Satsuma (suffragatte requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

R3. Implausible typo in disambiguator, AND the disambiguator makes no sense for the article in question

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". A tag has been placed on Genevieve mukundente, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

I recommend you do not attempt to create any new articles in article space without first creating them in draft and submitting for review by more experienced editors. Otherwise most of your new articles will get deleted because they don't meet the required standard. Deb (talk) 09:16, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Lilliane Iradukunda moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Lilliane Iradukunda, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. A tag has been placed on Denyse Mutatsimpundu requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Bad sourcing

[edit]

Please slow down and exercise more caution with your sourcing, especially with biographies. You are frequently using mirrors (copies of Wikipedia content), junk scrapers (sites that copy trivial/gossip material with no editorial oversight), and just straight-up odd refs (google search results). Our policy on sourcing is here: WP:RS. Kuru (talk) 15:20, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Same at Kyenjojo District - several very clearly marked mirrors, one mirror that does not identify itself well but seems obvious, and we can't use a google search result dump as a reference. Please consider this a warning - you are expected to evaluate the sources you are using. Kuru (talk) 11:09, 27 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Pine12k, please stop and respond. You are continuing to add very clearly identified mirrors and other junk references (google search results, unrelated sources, blogs, etc). Just today you adde very clearly identified mirrrors to Kyenjojo District, Nile International Hospital, and Lake Edward. If you continue this disruptive editing you will be blocked until you respond. Kuru (talk) 11:56, 2 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Good morning, Hope all is well. pine12. Am still saying am sorry for the bad sourcing i know am going to do better than then. Am sorry for not responding the messages i got in 2021. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Temporary block

[edit]

Welcome back. It appears you've continued to use junk sources without acknowledging or responding to any of the prior warnings above, so I've disabled this account until you respond. I'm happy to unblock as soon as you outline some approach to sourcing that does not include really obvious Wikipedia mirrors, junk gossip blogs, or google searches. If you need specific examples, please let me know - you can just look at the histories of your last four articles, but can expand if needed. Kuru (talk) 15:24, 6 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
