Hi PhinsUp23.

I think it might be a little too soon to create a page like this, given that its on the Dolphins' first season in the NRL.

You might be interested in participating in this "WikiProject".

Please let me know if I can help you in any way. Shirt58 (talk) 🦘 09:03, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The way I see it, the page will need to be created eventually. Doing so now will make it easier to stay on top of the data for the first season. Plus, the Gold Coast Titans Records page was created in 2006, a year before their first season, so its not like its unprecedented. PhinsUp23 (talk) 09:51, 21 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah mate, I hear what you are saying. And as for the Titans - who the hell supports them? The Gold Coast is pretty much a graveyard of NRL expansion teams.--Shirt58 (talk) 🦘 12:19, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well they clearly had one supporter that was dedicated enough to make a records page for them several months before they had any kind of records. Retired Chargers player maybe? PhinsUp23 (talk) 13:00, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Socking at 2024, 2025 NRL articles

[edit]

Do you happen to remember the username of the editor who's adding transfers to the 2024 NRL season article as an IP? The pattern feels familiar; if I can remember the username, it will be easier to go ahead and block the IP/protect the page for block evasion. —C.Fred (talk) 16:47, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah mate it's CodyCruickshank, I'd stake the house on it. I brought it up on his sockpuppet page a few days ago but it never went anywhere because these latest IPs trace to the USA. He's made the same changes across 3 or 4 different IPs since then so I presume using a VPN. I reckon protect the page (and 2025 NRL season too), not many legit IP users are active on NRL stat pages to be affected. PhinsUp23 (talk) 06:42, 10 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
