Helpme

[edit]

Hi, I sorted out your userboxes for you. This page has a bit of information about how to split pages. Welcome to Wikipedia. jd || talk || 17:11, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I just saw the message you left on UtherSRG's talk page. I could be wrong about this, but I think if you want a tilde on that keyboard you need to hold shift and hit the key to the left of the 1 key. jd || talk || 17:14, 21 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

tildes? (is that how you spell it)

[edit]

Hi! I came across your page via a very long story, and since you seem like a nice person and one who knows what he is doing on wikipedia, i just wanted to ask you to question of how to type a tilde so that you can leave your name on a talk page. i have a ibook g4 laptop, and i'm not sure how to get those wavy things. thanks! -alex

Since I can't see your keyboard, I can't help you. If you can point me to an online image of your keyboard, that might help. Or you could look at your user's manual to find out how to do a tilde. BTW, the tilde is standard on all American and British keyboards, as well as most if not all of the others. - UtherSRG (talk) 13:18, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome! I fixed the barnstar you gave me. Thanks! :) - UtherSRG (talk) 16:31, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

helpme

[edit]

OK, so this is the second time I've used this, but I am still confused.

I want to create a userbox, which I have, but how do keep the same userbox without having all of the text on the page? For example, my userbox, which I made via the template on WP:UBX, has a lot of HTML, while the zodiac userbox just has the name of the user, User:Royalguard11/userboxes/Ravenclaw. I am not the best at HTML and stuff, so the less text, the better

Looks like the best thing for you to do is to take your userbox and make it into it's own page, like User:Onlyabititalian/Userbox. Go there, copy and paste, now all you need on your page is {{User:Onlyabititalian/Userbox}}, and it will "just work"...:P ST47Talk 19:10, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Possible renaming of Wikipedia:WikiProject Saints

[edit]

It has been suggested that the above named project be renamed Wikipedia:WikiProject Christian saints. Please express your opinion on this proposed renaming, and the accompanying re-definition of the scope of the project, here. John Carter 17:21, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
