World War II: 2-Close for Comfort I found ww2 interesting because hitler could have won. he made three fatal mistakes as a general. 1.)left 20k of the british army escape via the france invasion. After this event britain was superior in the air unlike ww1 which was unexpected. 2.)Barbarossa was set back because of the Italian invasion of greece. Italy made many dumb mistakes. 3.)got greedy and tried to take another greek province (the greeks are heavy fighters when outnumbered but never invade due to lack of organization) stalingrad because of the oil reserve upon the caucus straits and ural steppe. The supplies is what destroyed the advance. From what i gather, lack of resources ran out, therefore the oil reserves in the ukraine, ignoring stalingrad, and weapon cache shipments could have kept the luftewaffe in the air, mostly in warmer weather. If he went straight for moscow, stalingrad could be a north-south american independence type issue (eg same with the american civil war, yet the confederates capital was taken instead because of one or two false moves by an even worst general, lee). They abandoned blitzkrieg warfare all together when taking provincial cities. It should be hit-bang-hit, or reap and sow then reap again. Even if he didn't invade russia, he may have won later. I don't condone killing and believe the war machine must be broken, but maybe the bad people, like 2% of the world were just being weeded out to make room for things to come, afterall its a matter of acting with the soul or not, who knows. Either that, or the civilian population def deserve to suffer or be controlled eg punished somehow because of its lack of compassion. I do not consider humanity and war a threat however, if supervised or governed by a higher force. In the end, the technology was there, just not used effectively enough eg obtaining oil tankers or drops instead of rerouting the army into the south caucus oilfields for entrapment in the concrete wall called Stalingrad. That's life, civilizations either win or lose, sometimes they lose sadly this is how europe became many countries in the first place. Finally, wwII is exposed. Basically, they never reverted back to their blitzkrieg tactic when taking problematic towns and major cities eg to break through and escape entrapment which hitler did not order paulus upon encirclement of the stalingrad suburbs. A correct way to control a division is to regroup and spearhead a city with the whole army. The 'slug formation' that was the third reich upon the russian step split-up into many groups and factions! It is also how the ottoman empire was created and destroyed. Nazi germany actually DID conquer the north of the soviet union for a small amount of time. They stalled, an american western trait when faced with the enemy to somehow 'trick' them upon the steps of moscow is however stupid. You either move, break through and take position or fail. The moscow town and the 30-mile stall like stalingrad was a win or lose scenario. Either push forward or don't. Hitler was a very western general and admire of america here. WWII was probably an extension of the american civil war actually. Urban warfare is brutal when confined and planes destroyed, because they took the city far too late or simply just got stuck. The american/russian propaganda you see is because a civilization was virtually destroyed or leveled. What's interesting is this is also how america was created, sociologically and technoligically speaking ofcourse.

PS: I would site (copy paste) most information here under the battle for moscow user talk page.

Notable Mistakes Caught

[edit]

Meditarnian was in central russia, still in the same place before the pole shift, however Africa moved down, which I thought was Europe. Europe did not move South, but Africa however as a series of Islands did. Another reference is the hypothetical location of Mount Sumeru and Meru. Both different mountains. Mount Sumeru is Mount Kailash, bird paradise. Mount Meru however is not Mount Sumeru. Mount Meru is located in the north pole at the center of the globe. My mistake was saying the wetlands moved the islands. They did move and create the mountains of the Ural, however just simply flooded the place, and did not effect the location of europe which was in central russia at the time. I simply cant tell the future, i dont know if Kailash will be south or north after the fifth pole shift.

~yes, true ignoramus but you must understand that atlantis is tracked by via civilization. Africa goes to israel, israel goes to india, india spreads into the human race. Now if you have a small island like sumatra my fine fured friend, you will have your genome! Pls refute me later. Atlantis is asian therefore you degenerated from a lemur for quite sometime. The Giants left you to breed in sumatra via atlantis through africa! The true cainanites are the greeks themselves whom made an ice-age caveman out of themselves. As well, the blood brothers of cain are indeed greek in origin! The cromagnums followed your giant hybrid traitor of a friend through the slavic kingdoms. This sumeria you speak of, is the last jericho or the garden of eden within a circle they created, Jericho! For the jews and a monkey named jehovah. Let this enter your minds..death and more death. Your race in your present form and mind, only a few hundred thousand years old! Be kind to the bush-finned trouts in fighting spirit, for you may enter it forever!!!

Notability of Asuramaya

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Asuramaya, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Asuramaya seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Asuramaya, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Replaceable fair use Image:Terrorforms.jpg

[edit]
Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Terrorforms.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 18:57, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Generation Q, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Generation Q. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. ZS 06:01, 16 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Atlantic Hook for deletion

[edit]

A discussion has begun about whether the article Atlantic Hook, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Atlantic Hook until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Jezhotwells (talk) 23:22, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Atlantic Hook, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. The article In Our Country's Defense has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A search for references ("In Our Country's Defense" Zaitsev) only found a single published (gBooks) hit which is a minor mention in the novel War of the Rats By David L. Robbins, Fails WP:N and WP:V

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Your user and talk space edits

[edit]

Hi. After reverting your recent edit at Talk:Punk rock I took a glance at your user page and through your contributions, and I think that somehow, despite having edited here for almost 6 years, you have a fundamental misunderstanding of the purpose of user and talk spaces. Nearly all of your talk page edits consist of you opining or theorizing on the general topics of the articles in question; rarely if at all do you seem to discuss the content of the articles themselves or how to improve them. As has been pointed out to you previously, Wikipedia is not a forum: Article talk pages are for discussing improvements to the articles, not for expressing general opinions or theories about the articles' topics (by the same token, user talk pages are for discussing user behavior and directly Wikipedia-related matters, not for further opining and theorizing about general topics). Also, your user page is nearly 58KB of theories, opinions, and diatribes about various scientific, historical, and religious matters, and conspiracy theories. While a reasonable amount of biographical information and discussion of your interests is permitted—and generally expected—on your user page, your user page is not a blog, and extensive personal opinions on matters unrelated to Wikipedia is a violation of the user page guidelines. I certainly don't wish to irk you, as you've also made many contributions to articles and done plenty of good-faith work, but I respectfully ask that you remove this superfluous content from your user page and limit your talk page comments to direct discussion of Wikipedia's articles, rather than your personal opinions, theories, and observations. Thank you. --IllaZilla (talk) 22:00, 15 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
