AfD Nomination: Haruko Lisa Haruhara

[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem to me that Haruko Lisa Haruhara meets these criteria, I have started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Haruko Lisa Haruhara. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.

Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, an administrator will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article. --Masamage 03:48, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please use my talk page to communicate with me rather than my email. The Wikipedia community will discuss the article and a large number of people will make the decision about whether the article is to be deleted; it won't be just me. From the looks of it, the article is about a fictional character you have created; a better venue for that would be your own private website. Not every subject gets to have its own article here; please read the policy about What Wikipedia is not. --Masamage 03:58, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved your article to User:Haruko Lisa Haruhara/Sandbox, a subpage of your user page. Read Wikipedia:User page and Wikipedia:Subpages for more on what those are and what you can or can't have on/in userpages and subpages. You had moved it to User:Haruko Lisa Haruhara1, which is theoretically another user's userpage. Subpages have a slash after your username.

Now, you may want to address the concerns raised about your article and eventually move it to "mainspace." You've made a good effort to write a good article, but there are Wikipedia has several policies you may want to read over before you continue with your article. If you believe that the character in question is notable enough for inclusion in Wikipedia, you may consult Wikipedia:Manual of Style (writing about fiction) for the style guidelines for fictional characters. Most notably, from the manual of style:

You may wish to view examples of well-written articles to gather ideas for your article. There is a rating system for article quality, which gives the highest-rated articles featured article status; articles which are reasonably good (according to these rules) are given good article status. If you have any questions, feel free to ask someone. ChrisRB (talk · contribs) seemed willing to help you. —Disavian (talk/contribs) 05:25, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Haruko_Lisa_Haruhara.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. OsamaK 07:37, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Haruko Haruhara on vespa.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Haruko Haruhara on vespa.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 07:32, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
