Dharmendra

[edit]

Hi, I added this source to support the "Hindu" part you removed here. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 17:12, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oh I see.. The source talked about Punjabi Hindu credentials of Sunny Deol rather than Dharmendra. Sunny Deol's Hindu identity is itself doubtful as he hasn't self-identified as Hindu; also he has Singh as middle name which is common among Sikhs in Punjab rather than Hindus. Even if we consider the source to be true, we would still need a source for Dharmendra. Dympies (talk) 17:39, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Umm... The opposite is true as far as the given name "Ajay" is concerned, much more a Hindu name than a Sikh one. I agree that a self-identification would be necessary. I used it beacuse of some LTA claiming Dharmendra to be Sikh. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 11:58, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Rajput

[edit]

I added {{about}} to Rajput to allow users to find the dab page. --Jax 0677 (talk) 18:55, 3 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Since the disambiguation page has been moved here, this doesn't seem ok. Dympies (talk) 19:04, 3 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, I think I read somewhere that Rajput should have a hatnote pointing to Rajput (disambiguation), in case someone does create a disambiguation page. Furthermore, people might want to know that a surname page does exist. --Jax 0677 (talk) 19:29, 3 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Are there something you can do in order to help me archive Talk:Islam and secularism article in Wikipedia? I tried to use ClueBot III by a user template but it didn't work, do you know any ways in order to successfully archive the talk page by ClueBot III? Aniruddhacharya moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Aniruddhacharya. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs better quality sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 13:16, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Chaotic Enby: What is your issue with the sources and why do you believe that significant coverage from TV9 Bharatvarsh, Asianet News Network, Network18 Group and more is not enough? Dympies (talk) 14:45, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! Sources of the type "Know the net worth of X person!" are often celebrity gossip and not up to Wikipedia's reliability standards. There is also the issue of possible undisclosed paid promotion (see WP:NEWSORGINDIA), which the wording used in the Newstrack source hints at. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 15:12, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Chaotic Enby: Added new sources including Outlook India which is absolutely not paid and has provided significant coverage. What do you think now? Dympies (talk) 00:38, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
