The article Parvez Mehdi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No claim as why this singer could be notable.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I cannot find a single instance where you have used an edit summary or replied to anyone, and you have ignored warnings to cease certain behaviours multiple times now. ANI notice December 2019

[edit]

Information icon There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. -- Bait30  Talk? 05:48, 24 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Dommiraubi: Collaboration is essential at Wikipedia. Your account was created in July 2019 but you have never added a comment on a talk page. That would be fine except that other editors have raised multiple problems on this talk page, and there is a current report at the administrators' noticeboard. Please respond before continuing with any other edits. If that is not possible, you may be blocked until able to respond to the concerns raised by other editors. Johnuniq (talk) 06:22, 24 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Another thing that you never do is provide edit summaries, which I see you have been told about before. Edit summaries are essential, as they indicate to other editors what you are doing without their having to search through every edit. If you continue to edit in unconstructive or unhelpful ways you will be blocked from editing, and since an earlier short block made no impact, the block will be much longer, perhaps even indefinite. JBW (talk) Formerly JamesBWatson 17:55, 30 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Both Johnuniq and I have tried to encourage you to respond to concerns expressed by other editors, as can be seen above. In the week since Johnuniq asked you to respond before continuing with any other edits you have made 94 edits, and in well over 24 hours since I posted my follow up message you have made 23 edits, but you have still made no attempt to respond to messages from others, whether on this page, in the discussion on an administrators' noticeboard, or anywhere else. Unfortunately, since nothing else succeeds in getting you to take notice of messages, it is necessary to block you from editing, as both Johnuniq and I warned you would happen if you did not answer. Neither I nor anyone else wishes to prevent you from editing, and when you do respond to the concerns I hope it will be possible to unblock you so that you can continue to contribute. However, Wikipedia is a collaborative project, and editors who will not or cannot collaborate with other editors cause problems. If you are willing to start communicating with other editors, you may request an unblock block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, and then adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of this page. Hello, Dommiraubi

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Velella and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Anant Kunte, for deletion because it meets one of the relevant criterion. The particular issue can be located in the notice, that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to prevent the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

But, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the raised issues. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Velella}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Ways to improve Gopal Misra

[edit]

Hello, Dommiraubi,

Thank you for creating Gopal Misra.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Thank you for your new article on Gopal Misra, but note that it needs additional reliable sources, and some sort of context on how the man can be considered notable enough for a Wikipedia article.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Doomsdayer520}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Speedy deletion nomination of Debashish Dasgupta

[edit]

Hello Dommiraubi,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Debashish Dasgupta for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

[edit]

Hello, Dommiraubi. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Hamid Hussain".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Notice

The article Gopal Misra has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Very weak sources - one reads like a blog and the other a directory listing makes it very difficult to establish notability. Searches are unhelpful. Fails WP:GNG as it stands

Velella  Velella Talk   16:40, 5 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
