Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Charliejo99, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Markup in live articles

[edit]

Charlie, as I noted in my previous edit summary, it is not appropriate to introduce markup nomenclature to live articles, as you did here NS here. If you have edits to make you can edit the article directly. If you are uncomfortable doing that or being cautious, use the article's talk page to get feedback, or start a WP:DRAFT copy of the article to work it up. If your instructor is asking you to make markup changes like that, please let me know and I'll speak to the project coordinators. Thanks. Sam Kuru (talk) 12:41, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, please listen to the advice you've been given and stop adding markup like that to articles. If you want to experiment, use Wikipedia:Sandbox or User:Charliejo99/sandbox. You're welcome to make helpful edits or suggest edits on Talk:Stress management but please stop adding superfluous markup to the article. Thanks, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 15:39, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
