Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Ccmcwiki. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Changi Airport, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 01:46, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Ccmcwiki! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Changi Airport several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Changi Airport, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 01:48, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Nkon21. Could we set up a Microsoft Teams or Google Meet call to discuss this? Hope to hear from you soon! Ccmcwiki (talk) 03:22, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 03:34, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Paper9oll. Can we set up a Microsoft Teams or Google Meet call to discuss the correct usage of Changi Airport Group's logo? Ccmcwiki (talk) 09:08, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Ccmcwiki NO! Please discuss any relevant changes, including but not limited to Changi Airport Group's logo at Talk:Changi Airport. Your discussion must also align with the WP:COI policy. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 13:57, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
hi @Paper9oll, thank you for your note. We would like to inform you that the usage of CAG's logo should align with what is presented on our official website, which you can view here: https://www.changiairport.com/corporate/about-us/our-belief.html. Therefore, we kindly request that you refrain from changing the logo, as it is an inaccurate representation. Thank you. Ccmcwiki (talk) 01:29, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Ccmcwiki: You do not have any right of ownership or control over the Changi Airport article. Please engage in discussion at Talk:Changi Airport to resolve content disputes. Also, if you are employed by Changi Airport, then you are required to disclose this per Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure policy. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 04:37, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:Happypotato21312 per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Happypotato21312. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 13:38, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
