The Star of Bethlehem

[edit]

Hello Amazon customer57, I have referenced the section you added that starts, "However, there is also some debate among Bible translators ..." and also have compared Bible texts and found it had some problems with a direct quote. As I recall, at one point there were some qualifying words--maybe "something like" (quote)--that were later removed (perhaps by another editor), and I have now condensed your several sentences into fewer sentences with references that I think reads easier. I don't believe I have removed anything, but you may want to see it and if it needs improvement, please let me know. It is the third section from the top in the diff: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Star_of_Bethlehem&diff=710746258&oldid=710745849 Regards, Al Leluia81 (talk) 21:36, 18 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Draft:SkySafari, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Fall of Babylon

[edit]

Hello Amazon customer57: In the article « the Fall of Babylon » that I have translated into French – there are 3 points that lacked references. In the Chapter on “Invasion” – “in one reconstructed account (citation needed) a battle was fought at Opis” and a little later “In another reconstructed account (citation needed) Nabonidus sent his son Belshazzar”. Finally, a 3rd point in your Chapter on “Historiography” - “was found corroborating the existence of Belshahazzar as the ruler in Babylon. (citation needed)”. Can you give me those references if you have them? Thank you in advance for your reply, Best regards, Eka1 (talk) 18:12, 19 September 2020 (UTC) Eka1[reply]
