Stop removing short descriptions

Hya, your recent removal of short descriptions is starting to become disruptive. Please stop, Short descriptions have explicit uses as outlined in WP:SDESC.

These are not meaningless, If a country has a president and a prime minister, separating who is the Head of state and Head of government is important, this is the function of such short descriptions.

A monarch is always the monarch. A president can be the HoS or HoG depending on the type of country. In Russia it's the HoS, in the USA it's the HoG (and head of state). If others disagree, I'm willing to let it go, but I would rather have input from more experienced users. Especially an IP should discuss such large sweeping changes before making them.

I agree with Speederzzz. Short descriptions play a role in searches on mobile platforms and should be included for all articles. "None" should only be used if there is no ambiguity in the article title. Explaining the role of the PM in a short description is helpful for search purposes. Sorry, I misunderstood you. I thought you meant that "Prince of Monaco" would have "Monarch of Monaco" as short description. I can see value in showing that the prince of Monaco is its head of state, but I'm less fervent about defending it. I also see no problem with keeping it though. For me (someone living in a monarchy) it is logical, but perhaps not so for those who live in republics.

I need to sleep now, but I would recommend not make such sweeping edits before consulting with a more veteran editor. It would save the both of us a bit of a headache.
