AVANU MATTHE SHRAVANI - S02

Avanu Matthe Shravani is a popular Kannada Television Drama Series produced by Story Brew Studios which airs on Star Suvarna. The Drama Series has been written by Abdul Harish and is currently being directed by Anil. The show came into the foray and garnered a lot of appreciation for its unique characters, mainly Cheeku, a dog which was separated from Shravani after her separation from her husband Abhimanyu.

Synopsis

Years after parting ways with each other, Shravani and Abhimanyu are thrust back together by fate. Will this Duo give their love story a second chance?

Plot

After moving on from a bittersweet relationship, Abhimanyu finally agrees to get married, thanks to the obligations from his family. Having learnt his lessons from his past relationship with Shravani that marrying a strong headed independent woman would be disastrous and agrees to marry a girl named Nishitha, a girl who just wants to get married into a rich household and live a luxurious well settled life. As the preparations for the weddings begin, Nishitha forces her elder sister to return from the USA for her wedding putting forth a condition that she wouldn't get married unless her sister shows up for her marriage, Nishitha's elder sister Shravani finally returns to India, and soon finds out that Nishitha is getting married to none other than her Ex Husband Abhimanyu. Shravani, being a self righteous girl knows that the marriage would be wrong and tries to convince Abhimanyu from backing out from it, but heeding to obligations from his own family, Abhimanyu refuses to do so. Apart from Shravani, there was another strong opposition to this wedding, from Cheeku. Cheeku was the dog that had brought Abhimanyu and Shravani close together in the past and now, Cheeku stayed with Abhimanyu. Even after years had passed, Cheeku recognised Shravani and wanted her to reunite with Abhimanyu just like the old days, Eventually the day of the wedding arrived and the secrets of the past that Shravani and Abhimanyu were hiding fell out in the open, Shravani's uncle wanted this wedding to happen at any cost, for peculiar yet vengeful reasons, and fate would have it, Shravani ends up getting married to Abhimanyu for the second time. What Shravani doesn't know is someone from Abhimanyu's family were the cause of her parents demise, as Abhimanyu and Shravani's lives unfold together, Shravani walks closer towards the truth and also finds out all is not well in Abhimanyu's family with his own family members plotting against him.

Adaptations

Avanu Matthe Shravani is currently being Dubbed in Telugu under the title "Shrirastu Shubhamastu"

The show is also set to be remade in Hindi.
