Jonathan "Jon" T. Baliles (born November 1969) is an American politician and urban planner who currently serves as the Senior Policy Advisor for Innovation for the city of Richmond, Virginia. He previously served as a councilmen for Richmond's City Council from 2013 until 2016. From 2008 until 2012, Baliles was part of Douglas Wilder's administration that saw him serve as the city's Assistant to the Director of Planning and Development Review.

He is the son of former Virginia governor, Gerald L. Baliles.

In 2012, Baliles won his first elected seat, and in 2016, he ran for mayor of Richmond. He eventually withdrew and endorsed eventual winner Levar Stoney. Baliles was named to Stoney's cabinet as the Senior Policy Advisor for Innovation on January 19, 2017.[1]
