Kosovo	Prekaz, Pristina, Prizren	15–16 August	President Begaj conducted an official visit to Kosovo at the invitation of President Vjosa Osmani. The visit represented Begaj's inaugural diplomatic engagement since assuming the presidency on July 2022. It commenced with a formal welcoming ceremony, followed by a ceremonial photograph and the signing of the book of friendship by Begaj. A private audience between the two presidents facilitated an in-depth dialogue was further detailed during a meeting between the delegations. A key component of the agenda involved a tribute at the memorial dedicated to individuals who remain missing from the Kosovo War, as well as visits to the grave of Ibrahim Rugova and the graves and museum of the Jashari family in Prekaz. Subsequent engagements included high-level consultations with prominent political figures, notably discussions with Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Speaker of the Parliament Glauk Konjufca. Additionally, Begaj met with the heads of major political parties, the commander of KFOR, and personnel from the Albanian Armed Forces serving in KFOR, concluding with a visit to the League of Prizren complex in Prizren.	^[1]
Slovenia	Kranj	12 September	President Begaj participated in the Brdo-Brijuni Process alongside the heads of state from the Western Balkans. In his address, Begaj underscored the necessity of accelerating the European Union's (EU) enlargement process within the region and acknowledged the pivotal role of the process co-chairs in maintaining focus on the geopolitical significance of Western Balkans integration. He reaffirmed Albania's commitment to transformative reforms that facilitate European integration, recognising the significance of the inter-governmental conferences between the EU and Albania.	^[2]
