Route description

[edit]

CR 104 begins at the Herkimer County line at a bridge over the East Canada Creek. The route transitions from Herkimer County CR 130 and continues east less than 0.1 miles (0.16 km) into the hamlet of Emmonsburg. Here it meets CR 119 which takes over the right-of-way to the southeast as CR 104 takes the roadway to the north. The area is sparsely populated for nearly the entire 2.26 miles (3.64 km) route north and northeasterly. It has no other junctions with public roadways until its terminus at NY 29A.[2] The junction itself is a Wye intersection with one of the 0.02 miles (0.032 km) spurs also co-designated as CR 104.[1]
