Instructions and reviewer comments

[edit]

1. Did the editor contribute to the transition between a redlink and the article's very first encyclopedic content?

Peter Isotalo wrote the Hemmema article parallel with related historic ship articles.diff At the time it became an encyclopedic article, Peter was sole author.

2. Was the editor involved in the DYK nomination achievement? Just being involved in the nomination is not sufficient. Evaluate the editorial contributions.

DYK nom by User:PFHLai. Peter Isotalo was active in the DYK process as shown in this diff.

3. Did the editor help the article through the GA promotion process?

Actively involved in GA process as shown here and in Talk:Hemmema/GA1 and in the original and closed links of the GA1 page.

4. If DYK and GA overlap significantly...(not applicable)
5. With the evolution of DYK to longer review periods... (not applicable)

6. Did the editor help the article during its FA promotion process? Look at the FAC discussions, peer reviews and the article history. The credit is a determination of the editorial activity that raised the quality from the GA level to the FA level.

WP:Featured_article_candidates/Hemmema/archive1 clearly shows Peter actively participating throughout the process.

Note that these four stages are very strict. An example of an article that is ineligible is Morotai Mutiny for which the GA nomination stage is not creditable to the "main editor" according to the talk page edit and the GAN edit.

Peter meets all requirements for award of the Four Award.
