I hope this doesn't overcomplicate things but shouldn't other regional main lines be added? They count as being part of the British system so they would be British main lines. They could be split into England, Scotland and Wales. Simply south 22:34, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This template is for the national/really big mainlines. There are templates for each regions already. Our Phellap 22:55, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cross Country Route

[edit]

Is this really, seriously and truly a "Classic" main line??? Can someone name me a named train that uses this route (apart from the 'Cheltenham Flyer', which is really a GWR train) that can sit alongside the Royal Scot, the Flying Scotsman, the Cornish Riviera Express or the Master Cutler ... I doubt it!!! Can I make a case for removing this faux main line.Canterberry 21:43, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
