@Headbomb: I believe that Template:ISSN link contains the same logic with (print) and (web) as this template so I think we can just call that template directly without using this template. The only difference is the span class="value" - is that essential? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 07:37, 2 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

are both dead links. User:Headbomb, can you find a replacement link or two? Thanks, wbm1058 (talk) 13:54, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Done, with https://westerncriminology.org/publications/bluebook-abbreviations/ Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 19:40, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Headbomb, that's a good replacement for the first site, which lists law journals. Now I see why you provided two links. Now I need one for medical journals, to verify Journal of Maternal-Fetal and Neonatal Medicine. – wbm1058 (talk) 20:39, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
For NLM abbreviations, just look in pubmed. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 21:00, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Template does not appear to be working

[edit]

Herald of the Russian Academy of Sciences is currently populating Category:Infobox journals with missing former name redirects but this template doesn't appear at the top of that page. User:Headbomb, from the template's edit history, I can't tell whether this template was working in August 2019‎ or you were still trying to make it work, and gave up. wbm1058 (talk) 15:04, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It does appear, if you enable it via your CSS page. See Template:Infobox_journal#Search_links. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 19:34, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
