I plan to make this article based on the WonderKing Online game much like how other games have their own articles. The format I attempted to use can be seen on LaTale as well as MapleStory. My summary needs improvement, but the facts about the game have been looked up. There is a need for this page because other articles have the possibility of linking to it such as the nProtect GameGuard page that displays the games that use or used nProtect as a hacking prevention tool. In no means was this supposed to be spam. Legends0 (talk) 05:48, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Your userpage says that you own (or are affiliated with) the subject of this article. This is a conflict of interest. Please see WP:COI. <>Multi-Xfer<> (talk) 07:07, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your concern, as this is my first article on wikipedia, I understand there are a lot of rules and guidelines to be followed. I am not affiliated with WonderKing Online, however, I am affiliated with a Wiki for WonderKing Online though. WonderKing Online is not my company, it belongs to the Ryu & Soft (the developers). I simply decided to gather up information I have collected to post an article in this Encyclopedia so that this game has an article just like the other games do. The only spot that may be considered advertising (in my case) would be the listing of my wiki on the external sites - fansites category. I can remove my page if it is of concern to you, but I'm sure someone else would need it. It goes more in depth than any other fansites I could find. I can also list the fansites that are not up to date yet, but those sites wouldn't be ready yet for people who are trying to find out more about the game. From my understanding it would be a COI if I was advertising my site or being bias towards my site or my company. This article is not about my creation (wonderkingwiki) , but about the WonderKing Online game. Legends0 (talk) 08:24, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

the article says that Wonderking was released in Japan in 2004, yet it also says that it was first released in South Korea, whose date is in 2006. which is correct? 99.242.33.46 (talk) 00:45, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It appears to have been fixed, but now the publisher of the Japanese WonderKing has discontinued their service and has shut down the servers. Legends0 (talk) 00:22, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WonderKing Online Shutdown (Philippine Servers)

[edit]

What started in September of 2010 lead to lost developer support and mobiusgames then discontinued their service on February 23, 2011. [1] --Legends0 (talk) 17:04, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

WonderKing Online Shutdown (European Servers)

[edit]

On June 30th, 2011, Bigpoint anounced that they would be discontinuing their WonderKing Online service by the 31st of July 2011 due to lack of support and an increase in hacking which lead them to no longer be able to guarantee a fun and save game experience. I don't have a good source for actual dates, just know that it is no longer available, you can check their website and links to wonderking eu and see that they are all redirected. The best source I could find was: http://www.shadygamer.com/threads/announcement-wonderking-eu-shutting-down.2152/ --Legends0 (talk) 16:41, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

WonderKing Online Shutdown (North American Servers), 30 December 2011

[edit]

Ignited Games is claiming that WonderKing Online will be temporarily shutdown (no date as to when it will be back up) as of noon on December 29, 2011. This is due to constant unresolved issues from the developers. [2] --Legends0 (talk) 18:35, 30 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

WonderKing Online (Korean Servers)

[edit]

I am not entirely sure what happened to them. Using google translator on their website it appears that they have been suffering from DDOS attacks and may have discontinued their service. Last announcement was made on October 18th, 2011. If someone who can understand Korean, or has better translations, feel free to search their website to confirm my findings.
