20th century history

[edit]

@ThylacineHunter I'm finding it hard to finish the 20th century history subheading as there's limited information- would you know any good sources/sites/information that could be added to this section? Guidance/article edits would be much appreciated! HoHo3143 (talk) 11:10, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@HoHo3143 in the 19th century, include the Williamstown Workshops, then in the 20th, cover the major Williamstown yard that the site became. Try victorianrailways.net, there are track plans for the Williamstown yard that show the many companies that used it. Williamstown was a major departure point for grain & wool amongst other things. This line along with the Echuca line (Melbourne & Murray as the first company had in it's name) formed the backbone of the rail freight industry in the state. -- ThylacineHunter (talk) 11:32, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
