Sources?

Is there anything in the article not confirmed by the school's home page? -- Mikeblas 03:43, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Then list the school's homepage as a source. See WP:CITE for more information --Samael775 03:47, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Added a page on the website as a source (and realized that this entire page has just been copied and pasted from there... is that bad?) Dandan2daman (talk) 19:24, 28 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Promotional puff

[edit]

This article has two sources, both of which are WP:PRIMARY links to the school's own website. The article has very serious WP:DUE weight problems. I gutted much of it, and added some wikilinks for context to try reign it in, but this was reverted by @Ericci8996:. Some of the most egregious ad-speak was then removed, but the entire section still leans entirely on the school's website with no outside indication of grater significance. I don't think we need to list exactly how much money the school raised for a library as part of its "centennial campaign" in 1990 without some sort of context or explanation why that matters. By adding all of this detail the article looks more like a recruitment brochure (a badly written one, no less) and not enough like an encyclopedia article. The only way this kind of minutia is going to be relevant is with secondary sources, which are lacking in the section, and article as a whole. Mentioning the number of tennis courts that were added in 1986, or using the WP:WEASELY phrase that "it is known as 'the school within a school' to the community" are not neutral.
