Hair styles

[edit]

Are hair styles really notable? If so, I will fix the grammar and spelling errors and remove the tag. Wperdue (talk) 05:29, 28 February 2009 (UTC)wperdue[reply]

I can't believe that this article is up for deletion. It is notable because many people wear the hairstyle. I think it is ironic that the mohawk isn't in any danger of being deleted, but the waves hairstyle is.

If you don't believe me take a look http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohawk_hairstyle

Outrageous, just clean up the article, don't erase it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.127.37.118 (talk) 16:02, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

How to get waves

[edit]

The first thing you should do if your trying to get waves in your hair is to get a fresh haircut, make sure to tell your barber that your trying to get waves. The next step is to start brushing your hair, make sure you put the wave cream on your hair and your brush for about 30 min before you go to bed and 20 min when you wake up. Also brush your hair as you take a shower and keep brushing after you shower (do not dry with towel), or run a hot towel through your hair 2 to 3 times or else your hair will start to smell.[1] http://www.youtube.com/user/wisemantk —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ish kay (talkcontribs) 08:17, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

From the article...

[edit]

I've removed the following unreferenced claim from the article:

"The first person to discover the hairstyle was a British-Sierra Leonean named Francis Dove in 1925."
