Fair use rationale for Image:V05.jpg

[edit]

Image:V05.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Английская версия статьи о Виссарионе на 16 мая 2011, полный бред.

Да уж Википедия, действительно удел пристрастных умозаключений от "знатоков", претендующих на объективность. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sawromat (talkcontribs) 23:20, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is a biography of a living person

[edit]

Wikipedia policy is very clear, we have to be extremely careful when we're dealing with content in articles about living persons, and despite its potentially highly controversial subject, this article is no exception. Specific criminal allegations of "attempted rape", levelled against this man in the current version of the article, solely supported by untranslated Russian language references, in my opinion are not acceptable in the context of the biography of a living person and I intend on removing the pertinent material. Please do not replace this material in the article until a discussion regarding its inclusion occurs here on the talk page. In my opinion, minimally, a translation of the Russian language material should be provided to allow other editors an opportunity to judge its appropriateness for inclusion. Again, please do not replace the material I'm removing from this article until a discussion occurs either here or on the appropriate "biography of living persons" notice board. thank you 74.14.26.240 (talk) 18:22, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Numbers don't agree

[edit]

In the first paragraph, it's stated that he has 2,000 followers that live in this particular area and 5,000 worldwide. Then, later on, the article states, "Vissarion's sect is estimated to have some ten thousand adherents, with claims of up to 50,000 adherents in eighty-three communities..." This is QUITE a disparity and no source is cited for either claim. 69.125.134.86 (talk) 23:38, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
