Home run

[edit]

My source for correcting the home run error is, http://www.baseball-reference.com/b/brunato01.shtml, not sure how or if it should be cited in article, Drunken Pirate 20:43, 24 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Edit on April 11, 2008

[edit]

I made an edit to remove a statement, but when I was writing my explanation of the edit, I mistyped a couple of words and then accidently hit enter to finalize the the change, so I thought I'd put my explanation here. The statement was that "During most of his time with the Twins, he played with Kirby Puckett (center) and Dan Gladden (left)". Well, this statement is inaccurate since Gladden only played with Brunansky for one season (and a few games of another season). Since I wanted to pull that out, it didn't make much sense to me to leave in the statement about him playing with Puckett since the intention of the statement seemed to be to describe the entire Twins outfield. Retirement Date

[edit]

Not sure that Bruno retired in August of 1994 rather than after the end of the season like usual. Baseball reference has the Red Sox granting him Free Agency in October - which is standard - but I can't find any further info on the web due to "all" the other answer websites basically being carbon copies of the Wikipedia page. comment added by Ckruschke (talkcontribs) 14:52, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I updated some information here... can't find a source with his hiring by the New Britain Rock Cats though. If anyone can please add to the article. CircuitChild (talk) 20:01, 2 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I added the ref. Ckruschke (talk) 18:32, 3 December 2012 (UTC)Ckruschke[reply]
Bobby Cuellar came with him from the Rochester Red Wings, didn't want to step on your toes working that into the article. I also removed the adjective "dramatic" from the article because it is used objectively. CircuitChild (talk) 14:50, 4 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No toe-steppin. I don't "own" the article any more than you and actually appreciate other people being actively interested. Just thought that the Cuellar mention should be in parenthesis since the article is about Bruno and not just "The Twins". I actually put the word "dramatic" in myself since the move not only included a new hitting, bullpen, and bench coach, but also moving two other coaches to differnet positions - it's about as "dramatic" as the Twins get... If you disagree, we can always discuss.Ckruschke (talk) 18:15, 5 December 2012 (UTC)Ckruschke[reply]
