Songsters Article

[edit]

Removing remarks about SSS - not relevant to our songster brigade activities. This site should present a positive opinion for evangelistic purposes.(210.9.129.196)

This site is not a tool for propaganda, but for factual information regarding Parramatta Corps. (Parradudes)

Also, The SSS section is relevent to the Parramatta Songsters article as so many people in Parramatta are also members of the SSS. (Parradudes)

Place the comment in the trivia box (as has been done with the Sydney Youth Band comment - both comments are equal, and not of direct relevance to our songster brigade). I am surprised that anyone associated with the corps would interpret evangelism as propoganda. Also, There is no longer a loophole - it is no longer a rule that there can only be 4 Staff Songsters from any one corps.

I think that the Salvation Army Crest should repace the red shield. What do others think? (203.222.110.46 05:05, 8 February 2007 (UTC)) 210.9.129.196 03:13, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why? The red shield is instantly recognizable, and actually has the name "The Salvation Army" on it. I think the crest would be more ambiguous to recognize for the average person in the street. 210.9.129.196 03:13, 13 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The above comment was made in reference to the wikipedia entry. Originally, an image of the red shield featured where the picture of the corps building currently is.(203.222.110.46 06:45, 13 June 2007 (UTC))[reply]

lol... of course. my mistake - still a good topic for discussion though...

Yeah if you say so... 210.193.228.114 21:35, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Death

[edit]

Does anyone know anything about the uninvestigated murder of one of the first officers of the corps in the early 1900's? I heard about it but wasn't sure as the details were pretty hazy.
