Who sings what

[edit]

I made some changes to the article based on what I heard and have seen on the YouTube video. Jackson Browne & Lindley sing the last verse of "The Load-Out," then Rosemary Butler sings the first verse of "Stay." After the instrumental break, David Lindley (the steel guitarist) sings the 2nd verse of "Stay," using his funny Tiny Tim voice. Finally, Browne sing the last verse of "Stay." You can see the video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WTJ9g1pIkzM

I don't yet know how to do a proper citation, but my husband is going to help me tomorrow. As soon as I learn how to do it, I'll fix the actual article.

It's not a frickin' "Tiny Tim voice". It's a falsetto. Just as falsetto, like many other singers have used. Like the guy in the ORIGINAL RECORDING. Bringing up a crappy novelty act from the Tonight Show is irrelevant, and I've removed it from the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 154.20.184.42 (talk) 07:44, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I didn’t think it was a Tiny Tim voice, but rather a Frankie Valli voice; the Four Seasons had a major hit with their version of “Stay” and Lindley’s falsetto sounds to me like Valli’s. 2600:1014:B040:8755:D529:580E:E827:35A5 (talk) 18:59, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
"Tiny Tim voice" ignorance of music abounds in that statement; look up "falsetto" then listen to some do-wop, geez. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Elsnod (talkcontribs) 07:16, 23 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox missing

[edit]

singles have a box to the right with basic info of the current single and it's predecessor to the left and the successor to the left unless this is a promotional only single and causes some new conflict. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Elsnod (talkcontribs) 13:47, 22 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
