I AM Sally Stevens, and was interested, and delighted, to find that someone had started a page for me! BUT - there is a ton of missing information and I would very much like to edit the page and bring it a bit up to date. I'm not sure how to do that. How can I edit : Sally Stevens

Here are some updates - I was Choral Director of the OSCARS for the 2015 broadcast, and have worked on most of the OSCARS broadcasts during the last 30 years.

I sing the Main Title of the SIMPSONS and have since the inception of the show. I still work every episode of the show when there are special musical numbers, as singer and Vocal Contractor, and have worked closely with Alf Clausen the composer all through the 25 years that the show has been running. (The Main Title was written and produced by Danny Elfman, and Alf did not start the show until I believe, the second season or the second cycle of the first season.) I also sing the Main Title for FAMILY GUY, and have been vocal contractor and singer for creator Seth Mac Farlane since the inception of the show., with composers Walter Murphy and Ron Jones.

During the 80s and 90s I did a lot of serial dramatic television scoring as a singer, working as soloist and ensemble singer/vocal contractor for PICKET FENCES, MURDER SHE WROTE, DIAGNOSIS MURDER, CHINA BEACH...

I have worked continuously in Film scoring, television, Sound Recordings and concerts since the sixties and am grateful, and very lucky, to still be working in the business. I also was very busy in the "jingle" world in the late sixties- early seventies. Also during the 70s and 80s had the privilege of working with artists Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Andy Williams, Wayne NEwton, Sammy Davis Jr., Country Joe and The Fish, Gary Pucket and The Union Gap, Paul Revere and The Raiders, Gino Vanelli, Vicki Carr, Sonny & Cher, and so many others.

I have a website for many of the film projects I have worked on: www.hollywoodfilmchorale.com, and have contracted vocals and sung on film scores for John Williams, Alan Silvestri, James Horner, James Newton Howard, Marc Shaiman, Don Davis, Tyler BAtes, Lyle Workman, Brian Tyler, Jerry Goldsmith, Elmer Bernstein, and many others.

CORRECTION: The FIRST film score I sang on was HOW THE WEST WAS WON in 1062. The most RECENT Film score I sang on was JURASSIC WORLD, for composer Michael Giacchino and vocal contractor Bobbi Page. Also, in 1960 I toured with Ray Conniff on the first tour he did as an Artist, then did a National tour with Nat "King" Cole, the second to the last tour before he passed away.

My very first recording project was with a group called THE BAYSIDERS, when I was still a student at UCLA, in 1959, and we had some pretty good success with OVER THE RAINBOW, the title of the album, which was produced originally in New York, with a "pickup " group of session singers and the record took off, so we completed the rest of the album in Los Angeles and did record hops, etc. Then Lou Adler and Herb Alpert were looking for a young artist, and were partners, before either of them became the huge successes that they did, and they produced a single of me as an artist, singing two songs I wrote, for DOT records.

I was awarded Most Valuable Player, Female Vocalist by NARAS in the seventies for five years consecutively, and finally was given an Emeritus Award. I also received THE VOICE awared at the ELLA Awards, 2011, from SOCIETY OF SINGERS.

I traveled and performed as soloist and ensemble singer with Burt Bacharach for about tem years, from 1968 - 1978. I sang the solos in his socre for BURT CASSIDY AND THE SUNDANCE KID, and was privileged to write a lyric for him, for an album entitled WOMAN which was recorded with the HOUSTON Symphony.

I have served on the Local And NAtional Boards of Directors of SAG and AFTRA, and currently am still serving (after 30 years, continuing) as a NAtional Trustee of AFTRA's Health & Retirement Funds.

That's a lot of material. But I would like the page to be as accurate as possible. Many thanks... please feel free to contact me - I would be happy to translate this into "third person".
