Shouldn't the original Meander (the river and its god) be listed more prominently, maybe in the lede, instead of hidden away in subdivisions? All other meanings derive from these. And why are there two headings "geography" and "geographical features"?--08:42, 30 July 2021 (UTC)

  • In land surveying, a meander is a series of straight, connected survey lines which attempt to follow the path of some natural object that impedes normal survey procedures or which forms a boundary to a cadastral land parcel.

The surveying article doesn't mention meander. Perhaps it will at some point. Until then, it doesn't belong on the page. Tedernst | talk 18:28, 6 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
