Romani

[edit]

Ethnically, she was not a gypsy, although some people considers she was Romani from a romantic point of view.

She married a gypsy man, and according to gypsy law, the children of payos (non-gypsies) and gypsies are gypsies, so her children are well categorised as Romani people.

Length

[edit]

Article on Lola Flores is too short. She was a very important figure of the 20th century and this very short article does not do any justice to her. The article must be expanded. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nayumadehrafti (talkcontribs) 21:04, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Enraged several generations of continents

[edit]

This seems to be the origin of the unclear claim. It was once tagged for clarification here, this tag was more recently removed without improving the text. The now-removed "for the music critics she didn't know how to sing" may suggest a form of vandalism but it's ambiguous. I don't read Spanish very well but am almost certain that the El Pais source just after doesn't support this text, because of the way it was introduced. The original text before the first diff was supported by another source and was more likely to reflect it. I suggest a return to that, or a rewrite of that paragraph... —PaleoNeonate10:13, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
