[edit]

Lex Luthor has been confirmed by the Los Angeles Times (and other sources) to become the world's tallest vertical drop ride. The cited Los Angeles Times source states:

This does not say that it will become the fastest. Until such a time that a cited, reliable source can be found to state that this ride will become the world's fastest vertical drop ride, any edits of this nature will be reverted as vandalism. Furthermore, please read the guidelines on original research, specifically primary, secondary and tertiary sources. Themeparkgc  Talk  00:44, 12 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Just to make it really clear. From WP:PSTS:
Press releases and official websites are primary sources. Neither of these sources mention the other ride and offer no comparison. The recent edits by 68.6.154.162 (talk · contribs) are clearly original research because the conclusions that are being drawn from the sources are not stated in the sources. A secondary source, the Los Angeles Times, makes a very clear statement (quoted above). I have written a statement to that affect and cited it in the article. Furthermore, as per Wikipedia's verifiability policy, states "The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth". Therefore any further edits containing original research will be reverted as vandalism. If anyone has any comments about this, feel free to add them to this section.
