Why was Jeremy Howard removed as President and keypeople?

[edit]

During this revision, https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kaggle&oldid=1164502572, @Lumimous Person has removed Jeremy Howard as a keyperson and first President of Kaggle Inc.

According this wired article (https://www.wired.co.uk/article/the-exabyte-revolution), you see clear proof of Jeremy's contribution to Kaggle Inc.

Any reason why this has been removed? – NirvanaTodayt@lk 01:00, 30 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Nirvanatoday: Hello, it was based on the source that I had used when I was trying to fact check the article, since it was largely unsourced. If you can find a reliable source that mentions him, feel free to add it back. I had no malicious intent. ⇒ Luminous Person (talk) 02:28, 30 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Deleting valuable information without any discussion on the Talk page is a bad practice in my opinion. Also, we are talking about the two people who founded the company. Please refer to the link I posted. I'll make the necessary changes. Just wanted to check with you before doing so. – NirvanaTodayt@lk 04:37, 30 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Official Kaggle Twitter links to post calling him one of the cofounders https://x.com/kaggle/status/162598716698673153?s=46 Hyperzx (talk) 09:04, 30 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Why was he added as a founder? I see no record of that anywhere. The cited source gives no indication of this. All I'm seeing is that he was a former president. ZacharyWalkerPinto (talk)

The edit of Nirvanatoday is such a blunder that people on Twitter (e.g. https://x.com/karpathy/status/1708150715401846924?s=20) are using this case to point out to Wikipedia's decline in quality ("10x"). For proof of him being a cofounder you can refer to this lawsuit: https://casetext.com/case/howard-v-goldbloom. I will restore him as cofounder for any future change please refer to the lawsuit above which gives plenty of proof.Hitsugaya-kun (talk) 16:01, 1 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
