His birthday and education (alma mater)

[edit]

The first reliable source is the official artist page on his agency website. Someone provided that link in the "External links" part, that will be redundant for copy-paste it again for the source. But I don't understand why someone (such as User:NinjaRobotPirate and User:Zackmann08) don't read it and need another reliable source. What do you need? An English source? Oops, I think if a wiki page is created for a South Korean artist, you must create or edit the article thanks to the Korean sources first, please do not erase the true information if you can't read Korean language. You don't need to understand 100% Korean language, but it is not a difficult demand for only the necessary information. So on his agency website, you can see that Ji Chang-wook was born on July 5, 1987 and his alma_mater is Department of Performing Arts in Dankook University (like someone wrote it before and it was also reverted).

There was not the first time I saw some wikipedians like administrators, or someone who has some rights, reverted something like that, which was written by others normal wikipedians or also the id. They didn't read or couldn't read all the sources was provided before in article, they thought that was no source, then they used their rights to revert, revert and revert it.

P/s: You can see also his birth place on Korean wiki page, but if you think Korean wiki page is not a reliable source, you don't need to care it. Because normally, the most information in Korean wiki page were written without the reliable sources. Kenny (talk) 18:00, 13 November 2016 UTC.

The best way to keep information in an article is to provide an inline citation for it. Editors generally won't click through every link in the article in the hope of finding a reliable source that verifies the information; the burden to cite a source is on the person who wants to include the information, not other editors.
