Jan Oort moved from Frisia when he was three. He seems to have spoken little or no Frisian.

Solar system in Milky Way

Surely the idea that the Solar System was central in the Milky Way must have been a small minority opinion, even in the 1930s? Its position in the celestial sphere is a priori much at odds with such an idea. Macdonald-ross (talk) 10:42, 8 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
