A halt to fox holt

I removed the line: "Holt, an occasional name for a fox den" originally included with this edit, without a source. My reason for removing it is that the Oxford English Dictionary only includes otters in its quoted examples of an animal's holt. Foxes are usually described as living in an "earth" which is recorded usage in the OED. That is not to say that one will not find examples on the net of misuse, but unless it can be shown as usage in reliable dictionaries other than the OED, I think this page should refrain from including the line as it may encourage a neologism. -- PBS (talk) 00:22, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
