This discussion successfully arrived at a consensus to merge Hanan Ben-Ari into Hanan Ben Ari. Relspas (talk) 16:01, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I saw this was in draft and moved it to mainspace before realizing there was an existing article for the same singer. Now the two should be merged (after determining whether the name should actually be hyphenated or not).--Geewhiz (talk) 07:32, 26 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I'm the original author of the other Hanan Ben Ari. Yes, I agree it should be merged. The spelling without a dash (Hanan Ben Ari) is the spelling used in Israeli media or personal channels that has been anglicized for English speaking viewers: e.g. https://www.youtube.com/@HananBenAriOfficial, https://www.jpost.com/opinion/article-748954, etc. so it's the version I was working with. The work on this article would be valuable if merged with the other page. The other page is also more complete than this one, so it would be easier to move less work over. If you agree, we can start moving things over or wait for consensus. We can also include the other spelling as an alternate spelling. - Relspas (talk) 00:13, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I contributed a bunch to the non-hyphen version myself, am also in favor of the merge. Also appreciate the clarity about how to Anglicize the name. Invisiboy42293 (talk) 02:13, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The articles should obviously be merged and the naming should without a hyphen like he wrires his name just about everywhere. DGtal (talk) 21:30, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
